Research shows that information sharing of time durable assets allows each stakeholder to improve their management of the specific product life cycle phase. A database architecture will be developed in CIRCUSOL to facilitate second-life usage and end-of-life management of PV modules and batteries. The database is envisioned to record manufacturing, installation and usage data of each product, to allow for easier repair, reuse, refurbishment and recycling at the end of first life. It could also allow for better connection between market supply and demand of second-life products.
